Minecraft

Minecraft:

Minecraft is a Sandbox indie game developed by a Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson. It was first released on PC as an alpha version, but later came to Android, IOS, and finally Xbox 360. There are still other systems that run minecraft.

This game allows players to create and explore in 3D generated worlds. Players can choose from Survival, Creative, and Adventure mode. In survival, players start from nothing trying to gain materials to live and survive. In creative, players have everything in their item menu. They are free to build whatever they want with unlimited resources, unlimited health (does not count for falling in the void), and a flying ability. Now, adventure mode is quite different. This mode is better for player created maps with unwanted griefing or trolling. It makes it so that players without special permissions cannot destroy certain blocks, often seen in many minecraft bukkit servers.

The possibilites are seen as "endless" in minecraft. Above is an example of a ship creation. Players who don't really like being "creative" can still play minecraft and have fun. They could fight mobs, use explosives, download special mods, and visit minecraft servers that have special game modes such as Skywars, PVP, or The Hunger games.

There is a version of Minecraft called "Minecraft Classic" which is a free version; however, it is no longer updated and is an older version. Many of the items in the updated versions of Minecraft cannot and will not be visible in Minecraft Classic. If you would like to get Minecraft, but first would like to try it; then I would recommend going to www.minecraft.net to make a Minecraft account and play a trial of Minecraft for 100 Minutes. (Or at least I think it's 100 mins)
[Instead of getting Minecraft classic].

War Thunder continued:

  WAR THUNDER:
Continued News on War Thunder:

Ground Forces HQ Mode is coming to War Thunder! It is scheduled to come before December 3rd. All loyal and determined fighter players that have completed the special missions (that are given every day) will be awarded with beta access to Ground Forces. This also includes special prizes such as t-shirts and watches.

War Thunder doesn't just have multiplayer modes, it also includes solo missions and a small campaign. Players can play in these special missions to earn unique rewards. However, the normal missions are more for beginners and the special missions are for intermediate to advanced players. (In my opinion).

Minimal System Requirements:
CPU: 2,2 GHz
RAM: 1 Gb
Videocard: Nvidia GeForce 7XXX series or higher; AMD Radeon 1XXX series or higher
Free space: 8 Gb
OS: Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista SP1, Windows 7

Recommended system requirements:
CPU: dual-core 2,4 GHz
RAM: 4 Gb
Videocard: Nvidia GeForce 460 or higher
Free space: 8 Gb
OS: Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista SP1, Windows 7
I pass the recommended system requirements, so I have no problem.
Note: Keeping your video/graphics card's drivers updated is helpful.

War Thunder

War thunder is a free combat MMO game based on flight simulator. Personally, I find it very fun and is worth to try with decent PC specifications.

The game is similar to World of tanks, with the in game menu, join up, and research. War thunder uses three types of currency: XP, Lions, and Golden Eagles.

XP: Needed to level up (level system will be explained later), and unlock planes using research.
Lions: In game currency most used. Players earn Lions just by shooting planes down, capturing points, victories, and many other stuff. Many planes can be bought with Lions.
Golden Eagles: A currency which is harder to obtain. Players can get this currency by buying it (real money), by completing special missions, or taking part with special events. Completing the basics and tutorials for fighters and bombers will give the player 240 Golden Eagles. This currency can also be used to buy special gift/golden eagle planes that can not be obtainable with Lions.

Now to the level up system: There are two types of levels in War Thunder. Your actual level, and your country's level. There are 6 countries which are US, German, USSR, Russians, Japanese, and Great Britain. The country you pick is independent from what side your on. For example, if you wanted to play War Thunder with your friend, and lets say you both are on different sides. You are on Great Britain, and your friend is on USSR. Even with different sides, both of you can still be on the same team. The country you pick only affects its planes. Each country's planes have their own strengths and weaknesses

War thunder is in a closed beta test and the game is very smooth with a suprising amount of limited glitches. Normally when you try beta tests, you would expect it to have more glitches. However, War Thunder has the least amount of glitches I would have not expected.

Origin

Origin

Origin is another digital distribution company from Electronic Arts. It requires the Origin download client, to have the ability to download and play games through the software. It has network chat, allowing players to communicate to each other. Origin has also received criticism, because of their suspending of accounts for suspected computer user activity. Also, Origin had added some major add ons to their software. Around March 2012, they released their unlockable "achievements," rewards, and cloud-saving/autosaving. However, users must accept to Origin given access to the information of their computers, although they will not use spyware machines or install spyware software onto the user's computer.

On this blog post, we shall talk about Steam. Steam
is a digital distribution video game/software company

more for Xbox, and Sony Store for Playstation and
more, Steam is for PC. Origin is also for PC, but we
shall be evaluating that later on.
Note: More news will be given later as well.

Don't worry, your Steam account will be safe. It offers basic security options such as an account name and password, and Advanced security options such as Steam Guard and Verfiying Email.

More news will be informed about later on...
